ಹ್ಯಾ ಸೆವೆಕ್ ಕಸ್ಟಾಂಚೆ ಎಕ್ ನೊವೆಸಾಂವ್ ದಿವಯ್ಲೆಂ.
ಜೆಜುಚಾ ಜೆವ್ಣಾಂಚಿ ಮಾಂಡಾವಳ್ ನಿಮಾಣ್ಯಾ ಬ್ರೆಸ್ತಾರಾಚಾ ವಿಧಿಂತ್ ದಿಸೊನ್ ಆಸ್ತಾ.

1. ಸಮೆಸ್ತ್ ಇಗರ್ಜೆಂತ್ ಎವ್ನ್ ಶಿಸಾಂಚೆ ಪಾಯ್ ಧುಂವ್ಚಿ ವಿಧಿ ಪೊಳೊಂಕ್ ಅತ್ರೆಗ್ತಾತ್.

ಸಗ್ಳ್ಯಾ ಶೆರ್ಮಾಂವಾಂತ್ ಜೆಜು ಚಾ ಸೆವೆಚಾ ಗುಣಾಂಚಿ ಹೊಡ್ವಿಕಾಯ್ ಉಚಾರ್ನ್ ಸಾಂಗ್ತಾತ್.
ಬಾರಾ ಆಪೊಸ್ತೊಲಾಂಚೆ ಪಾಯ್ ಧುವ್ನ್ ಉಮೊ ಘೆಂವ್ಚೊ ಆಮಿಂ ಖುಶೆನ್ ಪೊಳೆತಾಂವ್.
ಆಮಿಂ ಹಾಂಕಾ ತೊ ಉಂಡೊ ದಿಂವ್ಚೊ ಪೊಳೆತಾಂವ್.
ಆತಾಂಚಾ ಕಾಲಾರ್ ಜೆಂವ್ಕ್ ಸಮೆಸ್ತಾಂಕ್ ಸುಲಭಾಯೆನ್ ಮೆಳ್ತಾ.
ಗೆಲೆತ್ಯಾ ವೊರ್ಸಾ ನೊವ್ಯಾ ಪಾಪಾ ಪ್ರಾಂಸಿಸಾನ್ ಜಯ್ಲಾಂತ್ಲ್ಯಾ ಕಯ್ದಾಂಚೆ ಪಾಯ್ ಧುವ್ನ್ ಎಕ್ ನೊಂವೆ ರೂಪ್ ಸೆವೆಕ್ ದಿಲಾಂ.
ಆಮಿಂ ಎಕಾ ಮೆಕಾಚೆ ಪಾಯ್ ಧುವ್ನ್ ಭೊಗ್ಸಾಣೆಂ ಮಾಗೊಂಕ್ ಜಾಯ್.

ಜಶೆಂ ಜೆಜುನ್ ಪೆದ್ರುಚೆ ಪಾಯ್ ಧುತಾನಾ ತಾಣೆ ತಾಕಾ ಹೆಂ ಕರುಂಕ್ ಸೊಡುಂಕ್ ನಾ.

ಅಶೆಂ ಆಮಿಂ ತಾಚೆ ಕುಟ್ಮಾ ಸಾಂದೆ.
ಹೊ ಸಾಕ್ರಾಮೆಂತ್ ಜೆಜುನ್ ತಾಚಾ ಅಖೆರೆಚಾ ಮೊಗಾಚಾ ಸಂಕೆತಾನ್ ದಿಲಾ.
ಜೆಜುನ್ ಅಶೆಂ ಸೆವೆಚೊ, ಮೊಗಾಚೊ, ಆನಿ ಆಪ್ಲ್ಯಾ ಪೊಣಾಚೊ ಹೊ ಸಂಕೆತ್ ಸಂದಾಚ್ ಆಮ್ಕಾಂ ದಿಲೊ.

Passion Sunday 2014

Theme: Solidarity with the suffering savior
1st Reading Is. 50:4-7 Attentive servant of God listens to God’s promptings!
2nd Reading Phil 2:6-11 Jesus emptied himself of his divine powers so that as a man among men he could raise men up to God.
Gospel Mt:26: 14, - 27::66  Passion narrative according to Mathew.
In our lives we hear people using this word often. What do people mean by the word?
Passion in religious sense is extreme physical pain.
Here sufferings of Jesus as a human being.
Passion is also used has a negative meaning i.e., temptation against the flesh.
Why does church use the passion of our Lord Jesus? Here the word is use in the positive sense of suffering.
The extreme physical pain used through a descriptive narration by St. Luke.
Usually the popular knowledge of many is that Luke was a physician.
He could understand the extreme pain Jesus.
The suffering during the whole journey between the garden of olives to the mount Calvary the whole episode is picturesquely depicted in detail by the author.
Of course on Palm Sunday people in the church are more worried about the long ceremony.
The reading of the passion is very long.
It is not easy for us to be used to the long reading and concentrate and remain alert.
One has to be extremely interested in spiritual growth of oneself only then can one profit from the whole reading.
If we are not motivated to spiritual excellence, the whole celebration becomes an agony to us that becomes our passion.
This year I invite all you to go through this meditation to accompany me to the Sunday Eucharist so that we participate in the whole Palm Sunday liturgy with devotion and complete concentration. This will enable us to appreciate the suffering and death of Jesus which has allowed us to experience his grace.
He has chosen each one of us as his disciples and so we can be happy of God’s invitation to each one of us.
Jesus as a human being had all the feelings of a human being.
The whole passion narration reveals this aspect of Jesus.
When he goes to the upper room he participates with his disciples the last meal.
The feeling of a farewell is uppermost in his mind.
Disciples are insensitive to his suffering.
Some of them even fall asleep while he requests their prayer.
All the feelings of a suffering human Jesus are revealed and recounted descriptively by the author.
Let us attentively go through the whole episode and try to experience that pain so that our love for the master becomes authentic and real.

5th Sunday in Lent Year I Theme: Living in Risen Jesus 06-04-2014
1st Reading Ez:37:12b-14 Life giving Spirit
2nd Reading Rom 8:8-11 Risen Jesus gives us life.
Gospel John 11:1-45 Lazarus is raised to Life.
Is it possible to draw a picture of death?
Often death, danger is pictured by a skeleton.
Sin is a condition for death to have entered this world.
Jesus restores life to people in sin when they seek forgiveness of sin.
Jesus shouted “My God My God why have you forsaken me????”
Therefore in our life sin is a reality.
Once we know we have sinned we have to avoid sin by confessing.
Sin is a worst than cancer in our society where we live.
If we enumerate the sins they are many.
Mortal sins are to be avoided.
It could be done away with only by Jesus compassionate love.
Life consists of many types of friendships.
Today we try to meditate on Jesus friendship.
Jesus did have some people whom he loved.
Jesus spent time with them most of his public life for 3 years.
He ate meal, spend some hours with them.
Lazarus was one of such friends.
His two sisters must have been his real well wishers.
They even are bold enough to seek Jesus’ company, when they found Lazarus ill.
They even sent word to Jesus to come and heal him.
Jesus did not immediately respond to their call to his their brother.
He told his disciples that, Lazarus was sleeping.
He tries to foretell that he is the Lord of life and death.
He is powerful enough to raise even a dead person to life.
Isn’t it a fact that all of us love our life?
To save it we will go to any extent.
We try to extend our life by exercise, good food, health check etc.
It is said a poor man walks two miles to earn his bread.
While a rich man walks two miles to digest his bread.
Interesting comparison of two types of people isn’t it??????
What can we say of our life?
How can we say we have lived a worthwhile life?????
Can we say when the time for resurrection arrives, could our next life be a joyful event?????
Can we expect to be on the right of the just Judge or left of HIM?????
It may be we may say like Martha, we are full of stinking sins.
When Jesus arrives and asks to show him our grave.
What type of smell is it?
Smell of a sinful condition, because when Jesus arrives, sin disappears and life arrives.
We take life for granted.
We do not appreciate the life we have as long as we are not ill.
Then we run around to restore it to its health.
Spiritual illness is sin.
Sin destroys our state of goodness.
It is our duty during the Lenten season to restore this goodness.
The letter to the Romans is also showing how sin becomes an evil which has to be put to death and buried forever.
Jesus has proved the value of life.
He even wept when Martha and Mary were distorting at the death of his friend.
He shows his solidarity with his friends.
And this eventually leads him to restore Lazarus back to life.
What a miracle of love??????
This can happen to each one of us.
Jesus weeps when we remain in sin.
Let us be united with our master and enjoy our life in the Spirit
